CUROSITY CHAMP
Focus: Exploration, Pre-Academics, Independence & Social Confidence
4 – 5 Years Developmental Stage
Between 4 and 5 years, children show remarkable growth in independence, creativity, and structured learning. Gross motor skills are refined as they hop, skip, throw, and catch with greater control. Fine motor development allows them to begin writing letters, coloring within lines, and using tools like scissors with confidence. Language skills expand into storytelling, asking “why” questions, and expressing thoughts clearly. Socially, they engage in group play, understand rules, and begin to show empathy and cooperation. Cognitive growth includes recognizing numbers and letters, sorting and sequencing, and experimenting with cause-and-effect. Imagination and role play flourish, preparing them for kindergarten readiness..
