JUNIOR KNIGHTS

Focus: Secure Attachment & Sensory Foundations

1–2 Years Developmental Stage

Between 12 and 24 months, toddlers show rapid progress in independence and mobility. They begin walking with growing confidence, climbing, and experimenting with balance. This stage emphasizes language development, as children start using first words meaningfully and understanding simple instructions. Fine motor skills strengthen through activities like stacking, turning pages, or feeding themselves with assistance. Emotional expression becomes clearer, and toddlers actively seek interaction, imitation, and play.
